וַיָּ֣מָת נָדָ֣ב וַאֲבִיה֣וּא לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֡ה בְּֽהַקְרִבָם֩ אֵ֨שׁ זָרָ֜ה לִפְנֵ֤י יְהוָה֙ בְּמִדְבַּ֣ר סִינַ֔י וּבָנִ֖ים לֹא־הָי֣וּ לָהֶ֑ם וַיְכַהֵ֤ן אֶלְעָזָר֙ וְאִ֣יתָמָ֔ר עַל־פְּנֵ֖י אַהֲרֹ֥ן אֲבִיהֶֽם׃ (פ)
At namatay sina Nadab at Abihu sa harap ng Walang-Hanggan nang maghandog sila ng kakaibang apoy sa harap ng Walang-Hanggan sa ilang ng Sinai, at wala silang mga anak; at naglingkod bilang saserdote sina Eleazar at Itamar habang nabubuhay pa si Aaron na kanilang ama.
Targum Jonathan
But Nadab and Abihu died by the flaming fire at the time of their offering the strange fire from their own tents; and they had no children. And Elazar and Ithamar ministered before Aharon their father.

And Nadab and Abihu died before the Lord when they offered strange fire before the Lord in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no sons. And Eleazar and Ithamar served in the presence of their father Aaron.
